Yoga Instruction video clips
Yoga instruction Videos
vary in quality. IT is good to download a yoga video clip first to
see what you are getting.
Yoga used to be the kind of thing rather strange people did but
now the masses have discovered the benefits of a regular yoga
practice.
I tried screening three different videos on a day when my neck and
shoulder muscles were tight with tension from sitting at my
computer too long.
Jane Fonda's Yoga instruction video clips (A.Vision) did help to
relax them and Kathy Smith's New Yoga (BodyVision) was good
too. Three hours later, Dixie Carter's Unworkout (MCA
Universal), they melted away.
An good looking Jane Fonda appeared wearing plain red
leotards and tights, and sporting a hair extension braid down to
her hips.
She demonstrated the Sun Salutation, a yoga routine traditionally
used to greet the day, her huge diamond gleaming in the
spotlight.
Then she asked us to join her in a warm-up, and a relaxation
and breath awareness clip about 60 minutes.
Yoga is slow, so I have time to examine the webs between my toes
while holding each pose. While nearly standing on my head, I
meditated on one of Jane's statements: , Breathe.
After the relaxation segment, my thoughts switched to her last
message that I am relaxed, and I will carry this feeling with me
through the day.
She said this hour would help me stretch, tone and energize all of
my body.
Kathy Smiths yoga instructional video also appeared in a red
leotard and urged me to do the workout on an empty stomach.. She
worked with Rod Stryker, to update the ancient disciplines
and merge them into a workout for more of a fitness workout.
Kathy stood on a raised platform as she led a more aerobic version
of the Sun Salutation, a 12 other poses and a relaxing meditation
of 60 minutes total.
I love the great names attached to each exercise like the downward
dog, the cobra and the plank.
